Useful Tips for a long Traveling Journey
Are you an over-packer!! Hello friends my name is Linda and I travel a lot for fun and new experiences. Today I will share with you some of my secret packing tips to help you pack a little bit lighter.
Here Are
Some Tips To Pack Lighter For A Longer Trip
Shoe Options
You can pack shoes of three for different
occasions. I usually carry comfortable walking shoes and I also carry some
flats for dressier occasions and then also hiking boots for outdoor activities.
Try to use every inch of the space, use it inside of your shoes for things like
extra socks, belts, and anything that can sit inside.
Clothes
Keep the top-heavy clothes at the bottom,
fold over your clothes in the middle so it is basically putting a perfect line,
you can put your socks so you have your whole outfit picked for the day.
Rolling clothes can have your space saved and help with some wrinkles. Pack a
lightweight jacket for tackling bad weather. Fold the bottom over 4-5 in /
10-12cm.
The Rolling Method
The rolling method is great for pajamas or
anything lightweight and just tightly roll it up.
Accessories
Water bottle- Save money and bring a
lightweight reusable water bottle and reduces plastic use.
Carry a mini bag- Make sure to bring a wallet
or big bags at home. It holds everything that is important- passport, money,
credit cards, and more. Carry an umbrella in case.
How to Pack
Smart?
It's easier to pack smaller accessories
first, put more malleable clothes at the bottom.
Bring snacks-you don’t want to be hungry.
These are some of
the tricks I learned over the years traveling a lot, every trip is different so
plan accordingly. For more travel hacks and tips make sure to check out Spirit Airlines.
