Steamboat Springs is located about 160 miles northwest of Denver Colorado and is about three and a half-hour ride from the Denver International Airport if you are lucky enough to find good traffic. The main ski area is located on Mount Warner which is over at 10000 feet at the summit and receives an average of 314 inches of snowfall every year. Eighteen chairlifts are servicing 165 named trails on over 2900 acres with terrain for all ski levels.

Yampa River- The Yampa River flows right through
downtown steamboat springs where there are plenty of good spots to pull in some
amazing trout or grab an inner tube and cool off as you float down the river.
There are seven miles of bike path here along
the Yampa River from one end of Steamboat to the other.
Botanical Gardens-Go on a peaceful stroll
along with the botanical gardens which are free of charge.
Downtown Steamboat Springs- It sits at 6700
feet above sea level and is a great place for people watching and shopping
affordably. When you are ready for a break you will find plenty of local
restaurants and watering holes.
